The Bahamas Junkanoo
The Junkanoo is not your average street parade. Everyday you have a different celebration marking that day. The young and impressive Bahamian Junkanoo dancers are featured in the Junior Junkanoo Parade held on the second Thursday of December. Guests will be wowed by the dancers’ talent and passion, which has been instilled in them since their youth. There is a different Junkanoo parade scheduled for the day after Christmas. The Boxing Day Junkanoo parade is an event that includes costumes, performers, and unique music. At 2 o’clock in the morning, right after the Christmas midnight mass, the biggest non-religious fesitval in the Bahamas starts its parade.
The Heineken Kalalu World Music Festival at St. Lucia
